12 DUI arrests made during overnight sobriety checkpoint

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

The Kansas City, MO Police Department, assisted by Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers, conducted a sobriety checkpoint overnight Friday into Saturday morning.

Eastbound traffic at 152 Highway and N. Green Hills Road was checked from 11 p.m. Thursday until 4 a.m. Saturday.

During the checkpoint, 766 vehicles were stopped and 12 DUI arrests were made. One person was cited for a hazardous moving violation and one for a seat belt violation.
