FAIRWAY, KS (KCTV) -
When you pull away from the gas pump, every drop that fails to make it into your tank is money out of your pocket.
Accuracy is crucial, especially with high gas prices now.
KCTV5 News discovered pumps in one part of the Kansas City area were inspected for accuracy three times more often those just down the street.
Investigative Reporter Eric Chaloux also found pumps failing to give customers what they paid for and others that were giving away free gas.
