KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Some robbers must have had food on the brain after two KCK stores were robbed last Wednesday.

Police said a man entered a Waffle House restaurant about 1:55 a.m. and demanded money from the cash register.

That same day, a suspect entered the Snack Pack, located at Parallel Parkway and North 18th Street, about 11:40 p.m. and demanded money from the cash register. A second suspect stayed outside the business. The first suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and has a tattoo on the right side of his neck. The second suspect was wearing a white T-shirt and blue ball cap.

The suspects left driving a burgundy Pontiac Bonneville.

At this time, police do not believe the two robberies are connected.

The KCK Police Department's Criminal Investigation Bureau is encouraging anyone with information regarding the incidents to please call 913-573-6020 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
