Fire breaks out at Lenexa apartment complex

LENEXA, KS (KCTV) -

Crews are investigating an apartment fire in Lenexa.

Three levels of the apartment building were evacuated after the fire started about 2 a.m. Monday at West 87th Street and Pflumm Road.

Witnesses say it appears the fire started in the laundry room of the three-story building.

Several people were inside the building at the time of the fire but they were all able to make it out safely.

So far investigators have been unable to determine what may of sparked the flames.
