KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Gene mapping from home provides essential clues to your health.
An in-home DNA test helped a Kansas City woman map her health history and trace her family roots.
Adopted at birth, Northland mom Michelle Cole welcomed the chance to connect with her medical past and link to her ancestors. She is also thinking of her children.
"If, God forbid, there was a genetic illness and we can't trace it to my husband's side, it would take a court order to get it from me and by then, it could be too late," Cole said.
If you could find out now what diseases could be in you and your family's future, would you want to know?
Tonight at 10, watch the KCTV5 Special Report: Bio Blueprint to see how this affordable, personal DNA test kit works and what Cole's results revealed.
