It was quite clear Friday morning when the KCTV5 It's Your Morning crew visited Wellsville High School that the school was very cool.
The students and staff woke up early to fill up their gym and all were making their school spirit loud and proud.
The school really works to help incoming freshman transition into the high school environment with little difficulty, and the Lift Off Mentors program plays a huge part in that.
The WHS Student Council or StuCo organizes and sponsors yearly events to raise money for charitable organizations such as the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Franklin County Cancer Foundation.
The Eagles' choir participates in competitions within the district and also nationally. They are also planning a trip to Branson this spring where tow of the ensembles will be singing.
These highlighted groups only represent a small portion of those available at Wellsville High School and all of them helped make them this week's Wendy's Cool School.
