Jeffrey Ellis and Randy EstenbaumTwo Hardin teenagers are facing sexual assault charges.
The allegations had roiled the town last month.
Warning: the following details are graphic.
Police say the boys sexually assaulted two students in the locker room at Hardin-Central High School on several separate occasions late last year. One attack allegedly occurred right before P.E. class. The boy was allegedly sodomized by a water bottle.
Two other alleged victims have come forward, and there could be further charges in the case.
Jeffrey Ellis, 17, and Randy Estenbaum, 18, were charged with forcible sodomy. Estenbaum faces additional charges including sexual misconduct and assault.
The school is organizing an assembly Wednesday to address bullying in the classroom as well.
Superintendent Martin Griffin had previously ordered students not to discuss the allegations with reporters. Any student who was caught talking to the media could face disciplinary action, students told KCTV5.
"I can assure you that we take this very seriously," Griffin said. "We are starting a new program called Heroes in Action with students, teachers and parents so that we can better cope with all levels of bullying."
Griffin said the district's teachers are diligent in their responsibilities and will make any needed safety adjustments. Griffin said an outside vendor will work with the district to develop a bullying curriculum.
Griffin declined to say if any students had been expelled because of the allegations.
