NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Dog lovers are appealing to Gov. Bill Haslam to spare the life of a Nashville dog scheduled to be euthanized.
A woman in Athens, TN, has started an online petition to pardon a pit bull named Prada.
Nicole Andree, Prada's owner, has spent thousands of dollars and fought for a year to keep Metro animal control from euthanizing her beloved pet.
Prada ended up at animal control after five fights with other dogs.
Despite a huge outpouring of support, on Friday a judge ordered Prada to be put down.
