KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

One man remains in critical condition after he was shot in Kansas City.

Officers say the victim was found around 1 a.m. Sunday in the backyard of a home near East 25th Street and Lawndale Avenue.

Police are not sure how he ended up there and who pulled the trigger.

Police are continuing to investigate and could use help from the community.
