One person dead following wreck in Olathe

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

One person is dead following a wreck in Olathe on Friday afternoon.

At 4:15 p.m., Olathe police were dispatched to 159th and U.S. 169 Highway on an injury accident.

Officers arrived and found that a Lincoln Continental had been traveling southbound on 169 Highway when it entered the intersection and hit a small passenger car driven by a 26-year-old Lone Jack, MO man. 

The man was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead from the injuries he suffered. 

The driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
