LIBERTY, MO (KCTV) -

A misplaced phone has led to charges of unlawful sex with an animal in Clay County Court.

Brent Kuhnhenn, 60, of Liberty, faces four counts of the misdemeanor crime. Police said a phone belonging to him had photos showing two dogs licking him in a private area.

According to the charges, an employee of Lowe's in Liberty located the phone in November, accessed it to try to find the owner's phone number, came across the photos then contacted police, who identified the phone as belonging to Kuhnhenn.

The charges cite four dates for the crimes, two in February, one in March and one in September of 2011.

Civil court records show that as recently as 2010, Kuhnhenn owned his own construction business, BRK Construction. Thursday he was issued a summons to appear in court at the end of the month.
