Stephen MayerStephen Mayer joined the KCTV5 team in January 2012 as a multimedia journalist.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Mayer has spent the last few years working as a reporter and anchor in Shreveport, LA. He was a jack of all trades at KTBS where he also produced and shot.
Before getting his start in the news business, Mayer graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder. There he took advantage of all Colorado had to offer, becoming an avid mountain biker and skier.
When Mayer is not working, he loves exercising, exploring the Kansas City area, and web chatting with his three young nephews.
