A Lee's Summit man became an instant millionaire after uncovering the second-level prize on a Missouri Lottery scratch-off ticket.

Louis Scicchitano III, 52, bought the winning $5,000,000 Cash Extravaganza scratch-off ticket at Price Chopper off Northeast Barry Road, in the Northland.

According to the Missouri Lottery, Scicchitano became the sixth player to claim a second-level prize of $1 million in the game. He is the 62nd player to win $1 million or more on a Missouri Lottery scratch-off ticket, and the 328th Missouri-made millionaire.

Scicchitano decided to receive his $1 million prize as an annuity which will pay $50,000 a year for the next 20 years.
