KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Investigators were at the Irwin family home before 8 a.m. Wednesday, as the sunset they were still at the home executing a search warrant.
It is the first time the family has been denied access since the initial crime when baby Lisa disappeared from the home.
For the second day in a row a no-fly zone was issued banning news helicopters from videotaping law enforcement on the ground.
From the ground, investigators could be seen using shovels and rakes in the backyard by a shed.
The most activity was by the bomb and arson unit. X-ray panels were brought into the house, presumably to x-ray the walls and other areas in the home.
New York attorney Joe Tacopina said he did not know why a warrant was needed.
It was clear investigators wanted to cover all of their bases.
Meanwhile there was another vigil Wednesday night, after another night and still no sign of Lisa Irwin.
"Someone needs to be held accountable for what is happening to this baby," said Dr. Sugar Lee Lewis, a former educator.
