KCTV 5Motorcyclist killed in wrong-way crash

A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed early Sunday morning when his motorcycle struck a car in a head-on collision.
Nicholas A. McFerren, of Blue Springs, was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 50 near Highway 291 around 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he struck a car, according the Missouri Highway Patrol.
McFerren was pronounced dead on the scene.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the car, a 17-year-old from Independence, was not hurt.
