A 26-year-old firefighter was stationed at different fire houses in Kansas City, KS but, for now, he won't be suiting up. Reginald Arnold sits in a Wyandotte County jail on child pornography charges.

Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerry Gorman said Arnold is not only accused of possessing child porn but sharing it with others.

"When you download something, people who tend to deal with kiddie porn trade pictures with each other," said Gorman.

Court records state in April 2010, Arnold downloaded videos of sexual images of children on his home computer. Some of the titles on the videos included children who were as young as 6 and 10 years old. He was charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

"On seven of the charges we believe those children are under 14 years of age," said Gorman.

A federal task force with the state attorney general's office conducted the investigation.

"Task force did the arrest. It's composed of FBI agents, KCMO detectives, KCK detectives, deputies. They all work together in clearing up warrants," said Gorman.

No one answered at Arnold's last known address. One neighbor said he did see law enforcement agents removing items from the home on Holt Street Wednesday, the day Arnold was arrested.

Arnold is a firefighter in the Kansas City, KS Fire Department and has been for the last six years. Fire Deputy Chief Craig Duke said the firefighter has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of the legal proceedings. His bond is set at $100,000.
