The Kansas City Chiefs are returning to Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph for the second-straight season for the 2011 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp which opens on Thursday, July 28 with the first practice scheduled for Friday, July 29 at 3:30 p.m.
According to the Kansas City Chiefs, unless otherwise announced, all outdoor training camp practices will be open to the public and free of charge.
MWSU will charge a daily $5 parking fee.
A variety of special events are planned for this season's camp. Training camp will include a family fun day, a special training camp sendoff event, a night practice for Chiefs season ticket holders and several night practices.
Autographs will be available from select groups of players following various practice sessions.
Children can entertain themselves in the Kids' Zone featuring interactive games and other activities.
Vendors will be selling Chiefs merchandise and commemorative 2011 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp items in addition to concessions and refreshments.
According to the Kansas City Chiefs, all training camp dates, times and practices are subject to change due to weather conditions and other factors.
Practices conducted indoors at Missouri Western State University are not open to the public.
