Cars 4 Christmas helps Joplin tornado victims

Cars 4 Christmas loaded trucks Thursday morning with cars to be delivered to Joplin tornado victims.

A Joplin newspaper reports that more than 18,000 vehicles were lost when the tornado ripped through Joplin on May 22. More than half of those vehicles had liability insurance or no insurance.

And according to Car Santa, Terry Franz, the people have no way of obtaining a vehicle. That's where Car Santa some in to help.

Many services are providing food, shelter and more to the victims of Joplin and many have said if they had transportation they could return to work or get many of those things for themselves.
