Short Term Projects

I-70/Lewis & Clark Viaduct: Westbound ramp right lane from the Lewis and Clark Viaduct to westbound I-70 and the left lane of the westbound ramp from the Lewis and Clark Viaduct to Minnesota Avenue will be closed for bridge inspection work on Wednesday, June 1 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Noon. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Wednesday, June 1. (New 5-31-11)

K-32: Eastbound and westbound will be reduced to one lane in each direction from K-7 to Turner Diagonal for milling work between on daily between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. each day. Project work is scheduled to be completed in mid-June 2011. (Rev. 5-31-11)

Long Term Projects

I-670: Eastbound will be reduced to two through lanes from the I-70 split to Genessee Avenue for bridge repair work beginning on Tuesday, April 19.. Traffic will be directed across the bridge via concrete barriers. Project work is scheduled to be completed in mid-December 2011. (New 4-18-11)

Central Avenue to eastbound I-670 entrance ramp will be closed for bridge repair work beginning on Tuesday, April 19. A marked detour will be provided. Project work is scheduled to be completed in mid-December 2011. (New 4-18-11)

I-70/KTA at 142nd Street: On Wednesday, February 16 at 9:00 a.m., northbound and southbound 142nd Street will be closed between Kansas Avenue and Riverview Avenue beginning at 9:00 a.m. and will remain closed for a bridge replacement project. Traffic impacts on this project will include possible daily lane closures (between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.) on eastbound and westbound I-70/Kansas Turnpike and the closure of the right shoulder in both directions of I-70/Kansas Turnpike at 142nd Street. Project work is scheduled to be completed in late fall 2011. (New 2-16-11)
