Andrew Hunter is wanted on a Wyandotte County warrant on charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and failure to register as a sex offender, police said.
Police said they have been looking for Hunter for nearly a year, since he failed to notify authorities of a change of address. His current whereabouts are unknown. His last known address was in the area of 57th Street and Greeley Avenue in Kansas City, Kan.
The original offense happened in Kansas City, Kan., during 2007 and involved the sexual assault of a 14-year-old female, police said.
