Jeanene Kiesling joined KCTV5 News in September 2007 as a general assignment reporter.
Prior to joining KCTV5, Jeanene held similar positions at KOAM-TV in Pittsburg, KS. and KAKE-TV in Wichita. One of the many highlights of Jeanene's career was covering the BTK case in Wichita, where her work with the story won her an Emmy.
Jeanene is an Overland Park native and a graduate of Pittsburg State University. In her off hours you can find her watching KU basketball, spending time with her family and playing with her two dogs, Bobbie and Codie. Her favorite part about working in the Kansas City area is being close to friends and family.
She married Eric in the fall of 2011 and they have daughter Ainsley and son Brody, who was born on June 23, 2014. She has two beautiful stepdaughters, Kaitlyn and Jordyn.
