Police Have New Details On KC Motel Shooting 3-07-2011

KCTV5 uncovered new information in a shooting that killed three people, including a North Kansas City High School senior.
It was a security camera rolling next to the Red Roof Inn at Interstate 435 and Highway 210 that investigators said provided them possible new evidence in a triple murder.
What it captured has detectives on the hunt. A silver or gray Jeep was seen leaving the scene of a party that turned into a triple murder more than a week ago.
"The Jeep we have on video was seen coming into the Red Roof right before the homicide and seen leaving very quickly. Immediately after the shots were heard," said Clay County Sheriff Capt. Steve Wright.
KCTV5 ran the Jeep's plates, and it's registered to an apartment complex in Independence.
A woman who answered the door at that residence said it belonged to her son.
Eighteen-year-old Isaac Perdomo-Paz is in the Liberty jail on unrelated charges, but Clay County investigators are calling him a "person of interest" in the triple murders.
"We are still trying to talk to some other people who were at the Red Roof Inn, to get more info to see if the person of interest might have actually been involved in this," said Wright.
It's a crime that rocked North Kansas City High School. One of the dead was 18-year-old senior Dejan Joksimovic, whose mother said, every day, she has been praying for justice for her son.
Sheriff's Department officials said they hope to get the case turned over to the prosecutor's office sometime this week.
