The book, called "Brainstorming: A Creative Guide to Helping Parents and Children Through Severe Weather," is a book designed to help parents help their children through severe weather.

"I could not find another book like this anywhere that combines the science of meteorology and the psychology that you need to help children through severe weather," Katie said. "My experience as a meteorologist and as a mom has prepared us for this book."
