Eric Chaloux

Eric Chaloux joined KCTV5 News in December 2002 as a general assignment reporter.

Prior to joining KCTV5, Eric held similar positions at stations in Kansas City, at KSPR-TV in Springfield, Mo. and KOMU-TV in Columbia, Mo.

Before working in television Eric was a radio football play-by-play and sports announcer covering high school and college teams around New England. Eric grew up in New Hampshire on Lake Winnepausaukee. As you might expect, he’s a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan.

Eric graduated from The Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri. He has studied at Syracuse University, Cornell University and is currently enrolled in law school, working towards a Juris Doctorate degree.

His hobbies include soccer, golf and downhill skiing, which he started at age two! He shares his wonderful life with his wife and their daughter.
