Larry Johnson Files Countersuit

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Chiefs running back Larry Johnson filed a countersuit Monday against a woman who accused him of assault.Ashley N. Stewart accused Johnson of negligence, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress after an incident at Club Blonde in Kansas City in October.Stewart said the two-time Pro Bowler spit a drink in her face and threatened to kill her and her boyfriend.Johnson, 28, was charged in November with simple assault.In Johnson's countersuit, he claims Stewart screamed obscenities at him and threw a drink at his back and face.Stewart's suit seeks punitive damages, attorney fees and any other amount a jury deems to be fair. Johnson seeks the same in his countersuit.
