Head of Marketing

To achieve our market share and profitability objectives we are looking for a head of marketing, leading our marketing department.

Create a marketing strategy for the TK Access product portfolio, based on the following capabilities

  • Strategic planning of all marketing activities by generating market, customer and competitor insight, using the relevant methods and tools.
  • Identify growth opportunities in the different market segments, including new markets.
  • Set-up a product positioning for each product group, deriving that from the overall company positioning.
  • Develop and maintain a strong brand name and recognition for the product portfolio, constantly reviewing brand awareness and image.
  • Actively participate in new product developments giving marketing focused input into the process.

Operational management of the product portfolio using all aspects of the marketing-mix

  • Elaborate and review a marketing plan incl. the marketing budget.
  • Define the relevant communication channels per customer/ market.
  • Develop innovative sales activities and product/ service concepts per channel based on a current exchange with the sales organisation, aimed on generating qualified leads.
  • Steer the product lifecycle of our product portfolio, attributing the corresponding communication methods.
  • Organising of and participating in national and regional events
  • Chose, steer and control agencies to generate appropriate communication and marketing materials.
  • Guarantee marketing efficiency for every activity developed.

Organizational structure

  • Set-up an organisational framework for the marketing department, delegating projects and tasks to subordinates consistent with departmental and company objectives.
  • Guarantee continuous exchange to all relevant departments, esp. the sales and service organisation, product development and key account management.
  • Participate in sales planning activities including the pricing process.
  • The function is directly reporting to the president.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • ¡§Hands-on¡¨ character with strong interest in technical products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of and ability to create and work within budgetary guidelines.
  • Bachelor¡¦s degree in business or related field, and a minimum of five to seven years experience in marketing or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record for developing and implementing strategic marketing/communications plans.
  • Proven track record for developing collateral, marketing and sales programs, vendor management, budget and forecast management.
  • Able to travel 25% or more when needed.
  • Distinctive internal and external customer orientation.

SL Sales Representative

Department: Dealer Sales
Reports to: VP of Dealer Sales

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The SL Inside Sales Representative will perform pro-active outbound sales calls to potential dealers and existing small volume dealers and businesses to secure sales and convert potential customers to TK Access dealers. The position will be responsible for day to day contact with existing dealers and cold calls to non dealers. Will work to develop potential accounts in new markets and increase sales of existing dealers. Will work closely with SL National Sales Representative to identify and develop market research and programs for small volume Stair lift accounts. Will handle daily issues and questions from existing dealers and provide customer service and act as the liaison between ThyssenKrupp and the dealer. Will work to gather competitive information and maintain current data on competitors in key markets.

The SL Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining reports and customer information, as well as, follow up on potential leads. This position will be responsible for knowledge of company products.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
The position will have experience in professional selling skills, professional customer service skills, cold calling skills and the ability to over coming objections, good organization techniques and an ability to acquire and retain product knowledge.

COURSEWORK/TRAINING:
Previous sales experience, customer service skills and training. The Representative must be able to use basic software programs and customer service database.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and implement optimized manufacturing processes, which include work performance standards, production methods and procedures, tooling and design specifications, material movement methods, inventory strategies, work routing, department and facility layout, work instructions, training, capability studies, equipment specification/purchase/installation, etc., incidental to all manufacturing operations. This position requires keeping abreast of Company goals and objectives and ensures optimal solutions for the whole of the Company and not just its operational entity. The Manufacturing Engineer shall be aware of industry developments as related to manufacturing processes. It is also imperative the Manufacturing Engineer views things from a "big picture" perspective and be able to think, "out-of-the-box". Safety, quality, productivity and bottom-line costs are imperative when working on projects. The Manufacturing Engineer will also function as a production support role when needed. EOE

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

The candidate must be organized, precise, and possess appropriate time management skills. The Manufacturing Engineer must have a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, JIT systems and be able to comprehend complex technical literature. This position will interact with personnel at all levels throughout the facility and external contractors, which requires above average written and verbal communication skills. The applicant must be proficient in using PC¡¦s (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) Use and understanding of Solidworks and AutoCad required.

The candidate must have a minimum of five years experience in the field of Manufacturing Engineering and have a working knowledge of sheet metal, machine shop and welding equipment. A thorough understanding of manufacturing processes is a must. Additional experience in Product Engineering, building and equipment maintenance, production planning would be beneficial.

Service Technician I
Department: Field Service Operations
Reports to: Install Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Service Technician I must maintain the optimum level of service to internal and external customers. The Technician will install and service ThyssenKrupp Access products, provide service and perform preventative maintenance for all merchandise. This position will wear a phone/pager to facilitate communication with the office, answer customer questions and concerns, and handle emergencies when on call. The Service Technician I will collect payments that are due, document service calls, and assist other Field locations as situations warrant. This position is required to maintain all Company issued tools, parts and equipment. The Service Technician I will be responsible for maintaining adequate supplies to support service and installation calls, and performs other tasks to support Company goals.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

The position of Service Technician I demands an individual with above average communication skills. The applicant must have a good driving record, be dependable, and possess the ability to work well with others. Some travel may be required. Employee must be able to interface and deal with customer demands on a professional level at all times. Knowledge, training, and experience in the mechanical and electrical fields are essential, as are basic mechanical aptitude skills. A familiarity with welding, hydraulics, schematics and general building construction is beneficial. Work may require employee to work indoors and out under varying weather conditions. Lifting is a requirement of this position. The company has set certain standards or guidelines for lifting requirements to help employees think through the lifting process and minimize potential injuries. The guideline for 40lbs is set as a standard to help employees understand that common sense should be used in lifting parts or products.

COURSEWORK/TRAINING:

In order to be considered for this position, the candidate must have completed a high school education or equivalent.
