To see these and other pets up for adoption, check the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City Web site.
GILMORE is an adorable guy with an expressive face and big brown eyes. He's a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix and he's about 7 years old. Gilmore is just as sweet as he looks and he gets along well with other dogs. He's a mellow guy. Gilmore weighs 53 pounds and he has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He tested positive for heartworms but is being treated for those. Gilmore was at a city shelter because his owner died, and the Humane Society transferred him to their shelter to find him a good home.
PRETZEL is a grey tabby cat. She's got a darling little face with a pink nose and pretty stripes. She is 3 years old. Pretzel is friendly and gets along with other cats. She loves to play with toys. Pretzel has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia. She was brought to the Humane Society because her person could not afford to care for her.

TUESDAY is a 9-month-old Lab mix puppy. She's got a shiny black coat and a sweet face. Tuesday is friendly and loves to play. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms. She's medium size and should stay under 50 pounds when fully grown. Tuesday has two litter mates who also need homes: Trudy, who looks very similar to Tuesday, and Turner, who has a chocolate coat. All three were transferred to the Humane Society from a city shelter so they wouldn't be euthanized.
