Chiefs To Retire Derrick Thomas’s Jersey

Ceremony Will Be At Halftime Of Denver Game

The late Derrick Thomas will have his No.58 jersey retired by the Kansas City Chiefs.

The ceremony will take place during halftime of the Chiefs game against Denver on Dec. 6 at Arrowhead Stadium. Thomas's Pro Football Hall of Fame ring will be presented to his family during the event.

Thomas died in an automobile accident in 2000.
