POSTED: 10:16 am CDT July 24, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to terms with tackle Branden Albert on a five-year contract Thursday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Albert, a 6-foot-5, 316-pounder, was the 15th-overall pick in the 2008 draft out of Virginia. He appeared in 37 games over a four-year collegiate career and became just the fourth freshman offensive lineman in school history to start in a bowl game.

With the signing, the Chiefs have agreed to terms with 10 of their 12 draft selections.
