Emergency crews have shut down northbound 291 Highway north of Harrisonville, Mo., after a tractor-trailer became entangled in power lines.

The power lines came down near Waters Road on 291 and the tractor-trailer got caught in the wires around 5:30 a.m. 291 was shut down between Waters Road and 237th Street.

Emergency crews also said a natural gas line in the area was also leaking, but are unsure if the leak was related to the tractor-trailer incident.

Crews reopened 291 shortly after 7 a.m. Crews were still working to investigate the gas leak.
