CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo -- An employee of a Sonic restaurant in southeast Missouri is accused of cooking methamphetamine at the restaurant.The Southeast Missourian reported on its Web site Thursday that 22-year-old Dennis Bratcher is charged with second-degree burglary and attempt to manufacture a controlled substance.There was no telephone listing for Bratcher in the Cape Girardeau area.Police were called at 1:57 a.m. Thursday to a burglary in process at the restaurant. A probable cause statement says police found Bratcher cooking a batch of meth.Bratcher is a shift manager at the restaurant.
