TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued an emergency order of suspension against the Cheryl J. Schuler Day Care Home, a licensed child care center operated by Cheryl J. Schuler at 8820 Waverly Road in De Soto.The KDHE said state law allows the secretary of the KDHE to issue an order when the secretary feels it is necessary to protect children in the home from any potential threat to health or safety.
