LEXINGTON, Mo. -- David Mohler posted bond late Wednesday afternoon and has left the jail in Lafayette County.Mohler, one of five members of the Mohler family being held in connection with sex crimes against children case, is being held on two charges. Officials said Mohler will post bond at about 4 p.m. He is expected to post a $70,000 cash-only bond.Mohler was being held on $35,000 each for two counts of forcible rape from the early 1990s. He has not entered a plea, and is due back in court Thursday for a hearing.Court documents claim Mohler, of Lamoni, Iowa, had sex with children on the family farm near Bates City in the 1980s and 1990s.Mohler had no comment as he was led from the courthouse by his attorney and hurried into a waiting automobile. David Mohler is the only member of the family who has bonded out of jail.
