WICHITA, Kan. -- A nonprofit drug and alcohol treatment center in Wichita is in a bind after a thief made off with Christmas presents for children of its adult clients.The staff at Parallax Program said the gifts were already wrapped. They were taken by someone who broke into a storage shed over the weekend.The stolen items include MP3 players, boom boxes and CD players, all taken from a bag with gifts for older teens. Parallax coffeehouse manager Kim Rogers says more than a dozen packages were taken.
