KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened just before 4 p.m. near the Jefferson Place East Apartments, near 116th Street and Holiday Drive.Police arrived and found a dead man outside the apartment building. Police said the person who was killed was a man in his 20s.Witnesses told police the victim was walking with another man when two men approached on foot and shot the victim. Witnesses told police a person was seen running from the scene.Police told KCTV5's Sandra Olivas that they are looking for two people in connection with the shooting. Officers have surrounded a house near 116th Street and Longview Road looking for the two people.
