OLATHE, Kan. -- Overland Park police arrested a 19-year-old woman who police said ran over a woman gardening in her front yard in July.Johnson County prosecutors have charged 19-year-old Jill Conaghan with involuntary manslaughter, failure to stop at an accident resulting in death, improper driving on a laned road, driving on sidewalk, and three counts of consumption of liquor by a minor.Conaghan will appear in Johnson County court Wednesday afternoon.On July 18, 70-year-old Sandra Carocari was killed while she was gardening in her front yard in the 9800 block of 99th Terrace by a car allegedly driven by Conaghan.Overland Park police had said the driver left the scene after hitting the victim and returned 30 minutes later with her parents.Previous stories: Gardener's Death Focuses Attention On Road
