CONCORDIA, Kan. -- Concordia police have taken Letti Strait into custody on suspicion of tax evasion.

Platte County, Mo., officials conducted a press conference on Monday afternoon hoping to track down the 48-year-old woman. Officials said she falsely claimed her four children as dependents last year.

In 2007, Strait was a person of interest in the death of her husband, Charles Cammisano, in Riverside, Mo. Cammisano was shot to death, but Strait was not charged in the case.

There is no word on when Strait will be brought back to Missouri to face charges.
