BUCKNER, Mo. -- A top local racing team had its truck and trailer with a race car inside of it stolen from the team's garage early Sunday morning.The No. 4 Beau Heavelow team reported the theft to police after they discovered the vehicle and trailer missing from a garage in Buckner.The truck and trailer are orange and black, with decals from the team adorning them.The car is currently leading in points for the Midwest Outlaw Lightning Sprints series, with just a few races to go in the season.The team filed a police report and said they will keep checking with authorities in Jackson County.Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
