A Chillicothe man admitted in federal court today to pimping out three to five girls using the Web classified ad site Craigslist.com.

Randal Jennings pleaded guilty in federal court today to using theIinternet to sell sex with at least three underage girls. Jennings said he would drive the girls to a local motel to meet the men responding to the ad.

One of Jennings' ads read: "'Looking for a playmate ;-) 18; Hi guys new in the area (visiting) and would love to meet a guy to have fun with. Its me Kelly and my girlfriend Beth...We will leave you with a smile on your face. ;-) P.S. were both cheerleaders.' (sic)."

Federal officials said he took pornographic pictures of the girls and began selling them for sex three years ago, when at least one of the girls was 14-years-old.

In January, Overland Park police answered Jennings' ad and took him and the girls into custody when they showed up at a local motel. Detectives said Jennings worked with a Kansas City drug dealer and drove the girls to the hotel. The charges said Jennings offered the girls' sexual services "in exchange for three-quarters of crack. Jennings advised that he is addicted to freebase cocaine..."

Jennings is currently being held without bond and faces 10 years to life in this case.

Jennings' estranged wife said she left him a year and a half ago. She claims she had no idea he was trafficking children for sex and wants nothing to do with him or this case.

Jennings' neighbor Grace Smith said she is shocked to learn of the charges. She said a friend had mailed her the newspaper with an article about Jennings being arrested.

"I picked that up, looked at it and said to my husband: 'My gosh man. This is our neighbor,'" Jones said. "I was flabbergasted."

Smith said Jennings did not cause any problems as a neighbor.

"He acted like a nice fellow. Nothing out of the ordinary," Smith said. "No clue whatsoever."
