KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A local mother has been placed on probation because of a fight.

Sherri Turner pleaded guilty on Monday to endangering the welfare of a child for her role in a fight involving her daughter and another girl.

Authorities said Turner went with her daughter to an abandoned bridge in Kearney, Mo., in April where two girls were supposed to fight. The incident, which was caught on tape, shows Turner coaching and encouraging the girls who were throwing punches.

Turner was sentenced to two years probation.
