2 Buildings Damaged In Car Accident

Police Can't Find Driver After Crash

Kansas City police were investigating a hit-and-run accident that left two buildings damaged.

The two cars collided at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Norton Street at around 4:30 a.m.

One car smashed into the garage of a nearby home while the other swerved into a nearby business.

Police said they couldn't find one of the drivers when they arrived and they believed the person had left the scene. The other driver was treated for minor injuries.
