KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police were investigating a hit-and-run accident that left two buildings damaged.The two cars collided at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Norton Street at around 4:30 a.m.One car smashed into the garage of a nearby home while the other swerved into a nearby business.Police said they couldn't find one of the drivers when they arrived and they believed the person had left the scene. The other driver was treated for minor injuries.
