Funeral services were held Sunday evening in Cole Camp for three family members killed last week in their west-central Missouri home.

Donnie Luetjen; his wife, Sharon Luetjen; and their granddaughter, Taron Luetjen, were remembered by friends and family. Donnie Luetjen, 64, owned an auto body shop in Cole Camp. Luetjen was an avid collector of Indian artifacts and loved the outdoors. Sharon Luetjen was remembered as a devoted mother to her children and the granddaughter they adopted. Taron Luetjen, 15, an honor student and social butterfly at the local high school, loved to sing and act in school plays.

There was a heavy police presence at the memorial service. Each guest was required to sign in at the door.

The three were found shot to death in their Cole Camp home Tuesday. No arrests have been made in the homicide investigation.

Burial was scheduled for Monday afternoon.

Deborah Armenta, daughter of Donnie and Sharon Luetjen, released a statement over the weekend, saying the family has been "greatly disappointed in the trash and negativity" in the media about the case.

The statement said the family's priority is to make sure the victims are buried with "peace and dignity."
