GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- The city of Grandview, Mo., launched a new Web site on Monday.

Grandview.org provides information for residents and businesses and is hosted by the city of Grandview and the Chamber of Commerce.

"Our online visitors will now experience a more vibrant and seamless view of the city of Grandview and its resources," said Ana Nixon, communications coordinator for the city, in a news release Monday.

The new Web site offers news and a calendar of events, as well as a sign-up form for e-mail news.

The launch on Monday is the first phase of the city's Web plan. The next phase will include streaming media and e-commerce, where residents can make payments and register online for classes online.
