MISSION, Kan. -- Detectives arrested a man Thursday who they believe slashed tires outside the Mission police stationJesse L. Sellers, 19, of Overland Park, was charged with one count of criminal damage to property.Mission police Maj. Mark Sullivan said Sellers was stopped by police early Wednesday morning and was cited for some traffic violations. He said a short time later, Sellers called 911 from a pay phone to report that he had damaged seven tires on police cars in the station parking lot.Sullivan said it cost $1,000 to fix the tires.
