KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Bonnie and Clyde survived yet another daring escape earlier Thursday morning. The two dogs were rescued from the basement of a residence that caught on fire at around 4 a.m. in the 3600 block of Wabash Avenue. When firefighters arrived there was smoke coming from the attic. Two brothers were living in the house but no one was injured in the fire."I was at my girlfriend's house and that's when my little brother said, 'the house is on fire'" the homeowner said. "And I said, 'what do you mean?' He said, 'the house is on fire.'"The owner said his home has been broken into several times in the past few months. He thinks that someone got in through the attic and started the fire. Damage to the structure was estimated at $25,000.
