Defendants Plead Guilty In Crack Cocaine Case

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Ten defendants pleaded guilty to trafficking crack cocaine in Lawrence.Acting U.S. Attorney Marietta Parker said in a news release Tuesday that the federal charges involved a drug trafficking operation that was responsible for putting a kilogram or more of crack cocaine per month on the streets.Shaune Frazier, 35, Kansas City, Mo., Gary Brown, 26, Leavenworth, Kan., Troy Jarrett, 35, Lawrence, Cory Price, 29, Leland Roebuck, 47, Lawrence, Kan., Ahmad Austin, 29, Lawrence, Kan., Aaron Jackson, 37, Lawrence, Kan., Mike Wilkins, 31, Christina Wilkins, 31, Stephen Barbee, 44, Lawrence, Kan., and Gerald Dunn, 36, all pleaded guilty in the case.The defendants will be sentenced in May.
