KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A family's grief led to a confrontation with police at a homicide scene overnight, police said.Officers said a man was shot in the head by someone in a passing black GMC Envoy outside on an apartment complex near East Linwood Boulevard and Walrond Avenue. The victim, in his early 20s, died at the scene.Emotions were high and tempers flared after the shooting stopped and the victim's family arrived at the scene.Officers said the victim's brother became violent and was taken into police custody. Other family members stayed behind, watching as police searched for clues in the fatal shooting.Police have no suspect description to pass along.
