HARRISONVILLE, Mo. -- A team of 14 detectives organized to investigating the killing of a Harrisonville mother in her home said Tuesday that they needed more time to find her killer.Cara Jo Roberts' husband found her dead in their home on Wednesday.Tuesday, the Metro Squad investigating the case filed for another two-day extension.Detectives said they didn't have any new leads.Harrisonville police asked for the Metro Squad to investigate the homicide because killings are rare in their city.The Metro Squad usually investigates for a set amount of days then disbands and turns the investigation back over to the local police. They can file for extensions to stay on the case longer if necessary.
