Clergy and faith leaders came out to help people stay in their homes during the financial crisis.

They held a rally outside the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City on Monday.

The group Community Creating Opportunity wants investors to reduce monthly mortgage payments.

The group met with federal officials for more than an hour.

Members said they were happy with the outcome and planned to head to Washington next week to meet with the United States Department of the Treasury.
