OLATHE, Kan. -- Police are investigating an attempted robbery at an Olathe automatic teller machine on Tuesday night.

Police dispatch received a call just after 7 p.m. from a man who said that two men with handguns tried to rob him while he was at an ATM at the Commerce Bank at West 135th Street and South Mur Len Road.

The man said he was making a deposit when he noticed the gunmen approach his car.

He told police that no shots were fired and he was not injured. He drove off.

Officers have vague descriptions of the gunmen, but hope surveillance video will give them a better look at the men.
